Progress continues!
Construction for the Alberta Alive Condominiums keeps rolling, and this past week brought some great news for the northern building (Building A)!
What's New
The City of Portland gave Building A the green light on two important safety inspections, meaning the wiring, plumbing, and framing behind the walls all meet code. That's a big step toward these homes being closed up and finished.
Power is officially ready to go, too - the electrical equipment for the building is installed, so it can soon be connected to the grid.
Outside, crews are wrapping the building in a protective layer that keeps future homes dry and comfortable, with the exterior siding going up right after.
There's good news for getting around, too: the City approved plans for refreshed sidewalks and curbs along Alberta and Mallory, right outside your future front door, and our team has already mapped out exactly where they'll go.
And for anyone dreaming of outdoor space, the ground is being prepped for the patios residents will get to enjoy.
What's Next
Next week, insulation goes into Building A, bringing it one step closer to move-in ready. Building B will have its own inspection, checking the walls before they're closed up. We're also meeting with the City to keep the street improvements out front moving forward.
More updates soon as these homes keep coming together!
